Capabilities
Everything a serious deployment needs.
Sensrik is engineered for verticals where the device matters — cold chain, industrial, asset tracking, regulated environments. The capabilities below are what we build the platform around.
Direct cellular
Sensors connect straight to the carrier network. No WiFi credentials, no gateway hardware, no IT involvement. Deploy anywhere mobile coverage reaches.
Multi-sensor by default
Temperature, humidity, pressure, gas resistance, 3-axis motion, magnetic field. Sensors auto-register on first telemetry — no manual provisioning.
Long, configurable battery life
Reporting interval is configurable per deployment — weeks at frequent cadences, years at slow ones. Power Save Mode on the modem, embedded state-of-charge tracking. Battery is a design input, not an afterthought.
OTA firmware updates
Cryptographically signed updates over MQTT. Dual-bank flash with automatic rollback if a new build crashes before mark-booted. Zero downtime.
Secure by design
Memory-safe firmware. Per-device certificates rooted in an internal CA. TLS to the broker. AES-256-CBC for keys at rest. Security is the default, not the upsell.
Real-time + high-frequency
Telemetry on a fixed cadence with optional burst capture for motion events. Built for both monitoring and capture.
Self-describing telemetry
Devices announce their sensors on boot — type, unit, scale, display name. Add a new sensor in firmware; it appears in the platform. No schema migrations.
Production-grade reliability
Hardware watchdog, modem CFUN cycling on persistent failures, MQTT failure ceiling triggers safe reset. The device recovers itself, in the field, alone.
// the sensrik promise
We build the device, the firmware, the cloud, and the protocol — so you can build the vertical.
One platform. Many products. Powered by Sensrik.
Verticals
Powered by Sensrik.
Sensrik is the engine. Vertical brands are the application. Each product built on the platform shares the same hardware, security model, and operational philosophy — and is free to focus on its own users.

A vertical we don't list?
The platform is the same in every vertical — cellular sensor, signed firmware, multi-tenant cloud. If your domain needs reliable remote monitoring and you'd consider piloting with us, start a conversation.
About Sensrik
Engineered in Norway. Open by design.
Sensrik is a full-stack IoT platform — device, firmware, protocol, cloud. Built in-house because every layer of a cellular sensor has to be trustworthy, and integrating other people's black boxes doesn't clear that bar.
We chose Rust because memory safety isn't optional in hardware that runs unattended for years. We chose direct cellular because gateways are the weakest link. We chose documented protocols because schemas matter. None of these are accidents.
- Rust firmware — memory-safe, no-heap, designed to run for years unattended
- Cellular-first radio — LTE-M and NB-IoT today; the underlying silicon has a satellite path on the roadmap
- Premium B2B focus — built for verticals where reliability is non-negotiable, not for the mass consumer shelf
- Full-stack ownership — firmware, broker, API, and platform built and owned in-house — one team, one roadmap

Pilot program
We're selecting pilot partners.
Sensrik is pre-general-availability. We've onboarded the first pilots across food safety and industrial monitoring, and we're taking a small number of additional partners through the end of the year.
01
Pilot partners, not customers
You help us prove out a vertical. We lean into your field environment, your edge cases, your operational constraints. The product bends around what you need — not the other way around.
02
Scoped, private engagement
Each pilot is a bounded agreement: specific fleet size, specific use case, direct line to the engineering team. Nothing is generic. Nothing gets lost in a support queue.
03
Commercial terms when it makes sense
We publish pricing once the product surface stabilises and the pilot cohort has validated real deployment costs. Until then it's a conversation, not a rate card.
A concrete problem. A specific fleet. A willingness to shape the product.
If that sounds like you, apply. Intake is small and selective — we want to do right by every partner we sign.
FAQ
Common questions about Sensrik
What is Sensrik?
Sensrik is a cellular IoT platform. It combines a small battery-powered sensor that connects directly to the mobile network over LTE-M or NB-IoT, memory-safe Rust firmware, and a multi-tenant cloud platform. It is built for B2B verticals where remote monitoring has to be reliable over years of unattended operation.
How is Sensrik different from other IoT platforms?
Most IoT stacks are assemblies of third-party parts: a generic device, a separate cloud, a separate dashboard, each with its own failure modes. Sensrik is a single-vendor stack built in-house end-to-end: device, firmware, MQTT broker, API, platform. That lets us guarantee the behaviour of the whole chain rather than the sum of its parts.
Do I need WiFi, a gateway, or an IT project to deploy Sensrik sensors?
No. Each sensor has a cellular modem inside and connects directly to the carrier network. There is no WiFi setup, no gateway hardware, and no involvement required from an IT department. If there is mobile coverage, the sensor works.
How long does the battery last?
Battery life is configurable based on reporting interval. Frequent-update deployments run for weeks. Low-frequency deployments can run for years. The firmware uses LTE-M Power Save Mode and reports its own state-of-charge so you always know where the fleet stands.
Is the firmware open for inspection?
Yes. Sensrik's firmware is documented and auditable. Pilot partners can inspect the Rust source and add their own sensor drivers if their vertical calls for it.
Is Sensrik available to buy today?
Sensrik is in pilot. We are onboarding a small number of partners across cold chain, industrial monitoring, and asset tracking. General availability follows once the pilot cohort has validated deployment economics. The fastest path to access is to apply as a pilot partner.

How we select pilots
Intake is intentionally small. We look for operators with a clear problem to solve, the ability to feed back real field data, and a willingness to shape the roadmap with us.
